OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of Aurora Chiropractic is to provide quality chiropractic care to the surrounding Freeland community. Chiropractic care is a holistic, scientific, and evidence based health care service that utilizes leg length inequality checks, postural analysis, range of motion series, and other objective outcome measures to locate areas of subluxation. These located areas of subluxation are then removed through specific chiropractic adjustments, restoring proper connection and communication within the nervous system therefore restoring the patient to their optimal health potential. Aurora Chiropractic utilizes Activator Technique as well as specific, gentle hands on adjustments when deemed necessary by the chiropractic doctor performing the adjustment.

ABOUT AURORA CHIROPRACTIC
The story behind Aurora Chiropractic
All of the stars aligned for me to open this practice. Originally, I planned to associate at another clinic but for many reasons that arrangement no longer became an option. So, that’s when I decided to start a business for myself and my family.
Aurora is our daughter’s middle name. My husband always said that I am his moon and our daughter is his star. This business is an extension of me and I really wanted there to be meaning behind whatever name I chose, so naming it this became a no brainer.
I hope to have the pleasure of serving you and your family here at Aurora chiropractic. After all chiropractic is a family affair and I assure you it won’t take long for you to see that here at Aurora Chiropractic we always put family first.

INITIAL VISIT
Putting You First
Your initial visit will consist of a brief case history, pertinent physical examinations, and lastly a spinal check and adjustment. The duration of this visit will range from 30 minutes upward depending upon each patient’s specific needs. Each part of the initial visit will be billed accordingly, costing $85.00 in total.
SPINAL CHECK & ADJUSTMENT
Patient-Centered Treatment
This visit will be your standard appointment that you schedule after your initial visit. During this appointment you will receive a full spinal check and adjustment. The appointment duration will range between 10-15 minutes and cost $35.00 in total.
OUR TECHNIQUE
Activator Method
At Aurora Chiropractic we use a safe, gentle, and effective technique of chiropractic care called The Activator Technique. The Activator Technique was created by Arlan Fuhr to provide quality, consistency, and low-force chiropractic care. The Technique utilizes a series of leg length inequality checks as well as palpation to find subluxation within the body and then deliver the adjustment with a hand held tool known as the activator.
The activator instrument is a hand held, spring-loaded instrument which delivers a controlled and reproducible impulse to the patient with each use. The first device came out in 1978.
Dr. Munley has completed all Activator Methods training and is Advanced Activator Methods certified.

GETTING TO KNOW DR. MUNLEY
Dr. Munley was born and raised in Michigan in the Grand Rapids metropolitan area. Her mom worked for a chiropractor while she was growing up which is what inspired her to become a chiropractor at the mere age of six and has since become her life mission.
Dr. Munley studied her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Central Michigan University. She then went on to attend Sherman College of Chiropractic and completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic in December of 2020. Additionally, Dr. Munley completed the Activator Methods training in the spring of 2021 and has obtained her Advanced Activator Methods Proficiency rating.
It has become Dr. Munley’s life mission to create an environment for patients to heal and truly cultivate wellness in all areas. She believes that the offer to rest, restore, and rejuvenate in the midst of all chaos is what will draw patients into this practice.
During her time outside of the office Dr. Munley enjoys time with her family, baking, walking on local trails, and Piyo workouts.

This is the one time fee of your initial visit at which a brief case history, physical exam, and initial spinal check and adjustment will be performed.

This will be your standard appointment where you receive a full spinal assessment and adjustment. The duration of this appointment will range between 10-15 minutes and cost $35 in total.
